Victoza questions
Is there an app to track Victoza?
Yes. Steady tracks Victoza: it logs each shot, reminds you on your schedule, estimates your liraglutide level between doses, and keeps your side effects, weight, protein, fiber and water next to it.
Can Steady remind me when my Victoza shot is due?
Yes. Steady reminds you when your next Victoza shot is due and how much to take, using the dose from your prescription, each day at the time you set.
Which Victoza doses can I log?
The doses in Steady’s list for Victoza: 0.6 mg, 1.2 mg, 1.8 mg. Steady records the dose you are prescribed; it never suggests one.
Does Steady help with Victoza injection site rotation?
Yes. Each Victoza shot is logged with its site (stomach, thigh or upper arm), and Steady shows where you injected last and where to go next.
What if I miss a Victoza dose?
The label says to skip a missed dose and take the next one at the usual time. If more than 3 days have passed since the last dose, talk to your prescriber, because the dose may need to be restarted lower. Your prescriber’s instructions come first; if in doubt, ask your pharmacist.
How long does Victoza stay in your system?
The label gives liraglutide’s half-life as about 13 hours. It usually takes about five half-lives for a medication to be mostly cleared, so about 3 days after the last dose. Steady’s level graph shows the estimate.
Can an app tell me my exact liraglutide level?
No app can measure what is in your body. Steady estimates it from the doses and dates you log and liraglutide’s published average pharmacokinetics, and labels it as an estimate.
Does Steady track Victoza side effects?
Yes. Log what you felt and how strong it was; Steady lines it up with your Victoza doses and dose steps, week by week.
What happens if I switch from Victoza to another medication?
Your prescriber decides the switch and the new dose. In Steady you change your medication, and your reminders, dose list and level curve follow the new one from your next logged dose.
Can I share my history with my doctor?
Your doses, dose steps, side effects and weight are in one place in Steady, so you can show your prescriber exactly what happened and when, on your phone. Steady does not export a PDF report.
